4D Tic-Tac-Toe

Take turns claiming squares. Four in a row wins, along any straight line through any of the four dimensions.

With 3 or 4 players, tic-tac-toe usually ends in a draw.

How it works

  1. Choose a game, a board, and who plays each seat: friends online, someone beside you, or the computer.
  2. Send each friend their own link. A link is a seat in the game, so send each one to one person only.
  3. Play at your own pace: the page updates by itself, and you can come back to your link hours or days later.

Reading a 4D board

A 4D board is drawn as a grid of small boards. Inside each small board you move in X (across) and Y (down). Moving to the next small board across the grid is a step in Z, and to the next one down is a step in W; each small board is labelled with its Z,W position. So the same square on neighbouring small boards is one step apart, just like neighbouring squares.

Our other games include 4D Builder, Tesseract 261 and Atoms 3D.
